474415 CT is an audio-visual study of the sicilian city Catania at night. During three walks Juan-Carlos and me would pause on every site that one of us considered as somehow interesting.
474415 CT ist eine audio-visuelle Studie des nächtlichen Catania, welche aus drei Spaziergängen am 17., 18. und 19. August entstand. Juan-Carlos Quindos und ich hielten inne an Orten, die für einen von uns interessant waren und nahmen an diesen Orten auf.
Than both of us would have to capture. Juan-Carlos took fotos, whereat his exposure time got longer and longer during the whole project, starting at 0.25 up to 8 seconds. The lengh of each foto defined the lengh of the sample that I took out of my audio recording, captured at each site. Now I processed this sample to produce a short, rather abstract sound piece and accompanied the appropriate foto.
Juan-Carlos fotografierte, wobei er die Belichtungszeit stetig verlängerte, von anfangs 0.25 bis hin zu 8 Sekunden Länge. Diese Länge gab die Länge für meine Samples vor, die ich aus den Audioaufnahmen entnahm und elektronisch bearbeitete. Die Fotos wurden chronologisch angeordnet und mit dem bearbeitetem Audiomaterial unterlegt.
